Role Overview: 

Lutsen Mountains is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking laundry attendant committed to providing our guests with an exceptional stay at our resort. This position plays a crucial role in the presentation of the guests’ rooms, ensuring all linens are well cared for and maintained. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain resort standards of cleanliness and understanding and following pre-established guidelines and direction from manager or supervisor.  
  • Sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens. 
  • Remove stains using proper procedure and chemicals. 
  • Work with Head of Housekeeping on inventory and laundry needs.  
  • Performing appropriate maintenance on machines and informing facility maintenance of machine repairs needs. 
  • Ensuring the facility remains clean. 
  • Adhering to all safety protocols. 
  • Asist as needed in transporting cleaning supplies including housekeeping cart, vacuum and sanitizers to/from various resort and outlying areas.  
  • Assist as needed in cleaning hotel units, common areas, restrooms, hallways, and chalets. 
  • Help to maintain resort and common areas including shoveling, and garbage pick-up. 
  • All other duties as assigned 

 

Qualifications 

  • Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper preferred 
  • Valid Driver's License 
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain an elevated level of performance 
  • Have a keen eye for detail, time management and great customer service skills. 
  • Physical mobility and stamina. 
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English, bilingual a plus   
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays required and willingness to flex up or down in scheduled work hours (based on business needs)
