Snowriver Mountain Resort, our newest sister resort, has undergone a massive revival since we acquired the formerly named Indianhead and Blackjack Mountains. Located just a mile apart, these two distinct mountains offer some of the best powder skiing and riding this side of the Rockies, thanks to Big Snow Country's natural, snowmaking machine Lake Superior.

Like Granite Peak, Snowriver features superior lift infrastructure, including direct-to-lift access for season passholders and flex product holders. The resort is home to the UP’s only high-speed 6-pack, the Voyageur Express, ensuring minimal wait times and maximum time on the slopes.

Snowriver offers over 75 lodging units, ranging from hotel rooms in the Lodge @ Jackson Creek to bunks and studios, as well as an array of condos all atop the Jackson Creek Summit. These diverse accommodations cater to various preferences and group sizes, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay for all guests. 

Granite Peak is Wisconsin's largest ski area rocking over 60 trails, 3 high speed chairlifts including the only 6-pack in the state, and the top terrain parks in the midwest with Aspen and the progressive, learning Grom Park consistently updated and changed throughout the year.  The lift layout of Granite Peak with two quad high speeds on it's extremeties allows you to gain more vertical and less lines no matter how busy it is.  Open until 9pm Granite Peak also offers the most amount of night skiing in the region allowing you to easily earn tons of vertical that would rival any out west ski destination!
