The Rossignol Experience Rental Center 

With a new rental fleet of Rossignol ski and snowboard equipment, you can be sure our rental team will get you set up on the right equipment per your skill level. Packages are available for all level-types, as well as individual items for those who forget their poles or helmets at home.

Enjoy the convenience of slopeside rentals and eliminate the extra step of renting before you arrive. Lutsen Mountains also rents individual ski and snowboard components.

BEGINNER SKI PACKAGE

All-mountain skis by Rossignol, our standard skis are a beginner shape ski for easy turning and control.

SPORT SKI PACKAGE

Our sport skis are a more responsive ski for advancing and intermediate skiers. Our sport ski package comes with a premium boot which is stiffer with increased responsiveness.

PERFORMANCE SKI PACKAGE

Our performance packages are all-mountain and carving skis for a more dynamic skier with sharper turns and technique. Our performance package comes with a premium boot which is stiffer with increased responsiveness.

Burton twin tip freestyle boards, all packages are equipped with strap-in bindings.

*All equipment rentals are subject to an additional Resort Fee (5.5%). All equipment rentals are subject to Minnesota State Sales Tax (6.875%) and Cook County Sales Tax (1.5%). Taxes and fees are not included in the above prices.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE:

  1. Head to the Ticket Office to pick up your lift & rental tickets.
  2. After you have redeemed your order & picked up your rental vouchers head next door to our rental shop.
  3. Fill out your rental paperwork and collect gear. 
    • PRO TIP: Lockers are available in our rental shop and the lower level of the Scandinavian Chalet. 

drop off:

  1. Rentals are returned to our rental shop, open until 5:30 pm daily. 
    • PRO TIP: With multi-day rentals, you should keep your rentals to avoid the lines each day.
  2. Enter through the left door, this is different from when you picked up your equipment.
  3. Return poles to hanger, place skis/boards in drying racks, and drop your boots off at the check-out counter.

WE ARE NOW CASHLESS

Beginning summer 2023, Midwest Family Ski Resorts Properties will no longer accept cash as a form of payment. Cash may still be used as a form of gratuity, and non-MFSR-owned vendors may still accept cash. 

For guests who do not have non-cash forms of payment when they arrive at Lutsen Mountains, reverse ATMs that dispense Mastercard gift cards are available in our Scandinavian Chalet and Summit Chalet.

Online Rental Reservations

Online orders are due in full at the time of purchase.

Online Redemptions

Upon arrival please visit our Lutsen Mountains Ticket Windows to redeem your online order or to purchase your rentals upon arrival prior to picking up equipment at our Rental Shop. Have your itinerary number ready for our agents and your paperwork filled to expedite the process. If taking a lesson plan to be onsite 60-90 minutes prior to your scheduled lesson time.  

rental cancellation policy

Rentals are non-refundable—A credit may be applied for purchases that have not been redeemed (valid for one year from the date of cancellation). To receive a credit, customers must contact guest services before the end of operating hours of the date on which the ticket product was to be redeemed.

ONLINE CUSTOMER CREDIT POLICY

A credit only holds the value of the product they are issued for. If a credit is used to purchase a product at a lower price, the credit will hold the remaining balance for future use within the time frame the credit is valid. If the credit is used to purchase a product at a higher price, the customer will need to pay the difference in value. Credits may only be used to purchase packages, lessons, lift tickets, and/or rentals. Credits may NOT be used for events, food & beverage, tuning, or retail purchases.
